Congratulations to Clarice Scott who has been chosen as the winner of this weeks Critics' Circle competition! And we do hope you enjoy your bottle of Malt! Here is the review of 'Heaven' that Clarice submitted: Heaven This latest play at the Oran Mor was a bit like the curate’s egg – good in parts! The first half, with veteran actor Sean Scanlon firing random questions at the hapless Robert Jack, was quite masterful. The second half, however, meandered along to a somewhat unsatisfactory conclusion with Scanlon finally belting out the title song. The underlying theme was lost on us but, hey, sitting with a drink, a hot steak pie and the Evening Times,they could have read from the Yellow Pages and it would still have been a bargain at £8! And remember if your coming along to see 'The Shattered Head' this week get writing your reviews for the site and you could be our next winner!
