The Seagull by Anton Chekhov

Mary McCluskey, Artistic Director of the Scottish Youth Theatre has adapted The Seagull by the great Russian dramatist Anton Chekov. It was written in 1895 and first produced in1896. It dramatises the romantic and artistic conflicts between four characters: the ingenue Nina, the fading actress Irina Arkadina, her son the playwright Konstantin Treplyov, and the famous middlebrow story writer Trigorin.
