Many thanks to everyone who submitted a review this week, we had a great response. Special congratulations go to Mary Boyle who was chosen as the winner with her homage to alliteration! See Mary's review below:
My critique is a “homage” to Playpiepint’s fascination with alliteration!:
Corona Classic Cut’s Lysistrata, concluded a scintillating summer season of Play Pie Pint.Featuring a racy, raunchy, risque script with witty, wisecracking, wordplay by Anderson and Maclellan. Prolific props were provided by the use of creative. cocked cucumbers. While the cool, consummate, cast pulled-off a pleasurable performance inducing hysterics, howling and hilarity. The audience were totally captivated by this drama of domination performed in drag which had all the authenticity of author Aristophane’s Athenean original. All avidly anticipate autumn and another season! Well deserved kudos (in keeping with the Greek theme!)for all involved!
This is the last week of the season. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and support. It has been a mammoth season! We will be back with our Autumn Season at the end of August. Keep an eye on the website for the new programme to be announced soon!
