Bite the Bullet:
In 1990 the Glaswegian seminal agit-folknoir duo The Telltales had a minor hit in the UK. In Japan it went to number 1 for six weeks. Twenty one years after skittering to a quiet end they have been asked to return to Tokyo's Budokan to perform at a live TV awards ceremony.
"These visionaries did not change their artistic style or direction simply for material gain. The Telltales through obscurity maintained credibility." - Miranda Dixon of The Cognitive Content Show (BBC9)
Follow Carl and Les, their manager Zara, Carl's Mum, A very depressed DJ and a bunch of other folk through a magical mystery tour de force, with real choons and everything.
Featuring Sandy Nelson, Gabriel Quigley and Keith Warwick.
Runs at Oran Mor from Monday 21st - Saturday 26th November.
