A Prayer

God doesn’t exist. M knows that. Everybody knows that.

M knows there is no-one looking after him. No-one waiting to punish his wrong thoughts. No-one larger than life to reward or judge his acts. M lives in the world of reason and science and facts and probability and cause and consequence. He always did.

So why is he suddenly praying?
