Simon Stephens

Simon Stephens is an award-winning writer. His previous plays include Pornography (Traverse/Birmingham Rep, 2008 – Winner Best New Play, Critics’ Award for Theatre in Scotland 2009); Sea Wall (Bush Theatre – part of the Traverse Theatre Festival from 7 – 16 August 2009); Harper Regan (NT); Motortown (Royal Court); On the Shore of the Wide World (Royal Exchange, Manchester and NT – Olivier Award for Best New Play); Christmas (Bush Theatre) and Port (Royal Exchange, Manchester – Pearson Award for Best Play). Simon is currently Artistic Associate of the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith.
