THE WITCHES OF WEST FIFE

Having fled the witchprickers of Fife and with the new king on a mission to spread witchhunting to England, Lilyan begs her friend Shakespeare not to include witches in his latest play. Meanwhile, Isobel, Mags and Janet – struggling with cloaks and fakes noses in a new production of Macbeth – wonder if this was a good way to mark turning 40 after all. 

Jane Livingstone Dunfermline-based writer Jane Livingstone’s previous plays for A Play Pie and a Pint were Miss Veitch’s Roses and Jocky Wilson Said with the latter going on to the Gilded Balloon as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017. Jane has an MA in Creative Writing and won a BAFTA Scotland Best Writer Award for her screenplay Roses of Picardy.
