When Claire was little she’d pretend she was Superman, flying through the air as she leapt from one wall to another. Now she’s an adult she hates her dull office job. She also hates the litter, the graffiti and the drugs on the streets of her town. Someone has to do something about it and she’s on a mission to clean up. Tonight, however, she might find more than she bargained for.
Morna Pearson was given the inaugural Rod Hall Memorial Award in 2006 and her play Distracted won the Meyer-Witworth Award in 2007. Other work includes The Artist Man and the Mother Woman (Traverse); Elf Analysis (Oran Mor); The Company Will Overlook a Moment of Madness (National Theatre of Scotland and Oran Mor); and Ailie and The Alien (National Theatre Connections). She is an Associate Artist at the Traverse.
