Its 2006, Jack is 19 and was born on the same day, in the same hour, in the same hospital as Paolo Nutini. He goes to T in the Park in a stolen hearse with his two best friends Jack and Mavis, and promises that his best pal Paolo will be there to meet them. Nothing will be the same again.

Martin McCardie is a writer and actor. As an actor has worked with many Scottish theatre companies including in William McIlvanney’s The Prisoner at Oran Mor. Films and TV include My Name is Joe, Red Road, Sweet Sixteen, River City and The Field of Blood. He has written several plays including The Apprentice and God Bless Liz Lochhead for A Play, a Pie and a Pint. He has written for television including River City, Taggart, Edit, Initiation, Wasted Time, Katie Morag and Tinsel Town for which he was nominated for a BAFTA (UK) award as Best New Writer. He currently works as a producer on River City.
